Coaches' and Managers' Certification

Again for our Spring Baseball program, all Coaches and Team Moms will require certification. Coaches are defined as persons who could run a practice in the manager's absence, as well as all persons on the field or in the dugout at game time.

Certification requires attendance at a corresponding clinic and submission to a background check, including LiveScan fingerprinting. Volunteers who scanned last year are not required to scan again.

If you missed the Double-Goal Coach Workshops, you can take the course online. Just follow these steps:

1. Go to the PCA main web site (http://www.positivecoach.org), click  on the Double-Goal Coaches hyperlink.

 2. Go to the PCA Double-Goal Coach description page (http://shopping.positivecoach.org/Courses/Double-Goal-Coach), and  click add to cart.

 3. Login as either a new or returning customer. Then enter your  billing information and click continue.

 4. On the review page, enter your Promotion Code, SOClaJK1 (case  sensitive), in the box and your order total will be updated with the new price. Once you review your order, click submit.

5. You will receive a thank you message. At the bottom of this page will be a link to register for the course. Once registration is complete you will be directed to the Double-Goal Coach course.

Make sure to use the promo code to save $10 off the normal $25 fee. Print out the certificate after you take the test, and present it to Jay or Kenny.
